Do I need to be ready to sell before contacting MSEP?
No. Many owners begin with a confidential readiness conversation well before a potential sale process begins.
About Main Street Exit Partners
Most owners only sell once. Main Street Exit Partners was built for that reality: a private, financially grounded process designed to help owner-led businesses prepare for a confidential sale with the clarity and discipline that serious buyers expect.
Why MSEP Exists
That makes the process genuinely difficult to navigate. Owners are often thinking through value, timing, confidentiality, buyer fit, diligence, advisors, employees, and life after the sale while still running the business every day.
Main Street Exit Partners was built around a preparation-first idea: before an owner goes to market, they should understand what buyers are likely to care about, what preparation may help, and what a thoughtful path forward may realistically involve.
The goal is not to rush businesses into the market. The goal is to help owners approach the process with more clarity, stronger buyer confidence, and fewer avoidable surprises once serious conversations begin.
About Grady Collins
Grady Collins founded Main Street Exit Partners after more than 20 years working in accounting and finance roles, including a Deloitte audit background, CFO-level leadership experience, and acquisition-related exposure across public, private, and private equity-backed businesses.
His background includes financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, operational finance, risk management, board and shareholder reporting, and coordination with outside legal, banking, audit, tax, and advisory teams.
That experience shapes the MSEP approach directly. Buyers evaluate more than revenue. They evaluate credibility, transferability, organization, risk, and whether the business story remains clear under careful review.
Regional Focus
Main Street Exit Partners is based in Cincinnati and works with established owner-led businesses across Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, Southeast Indiana, and the surrounding region.
MSEP works alongside attorneys, accountants, tax advisors, lenders, financial advisors, and other professional teams as part of a disciplined transaction process. The role is not to replace those advisors. The role is to help owners prepare for and navigate the business-sale path in a controlled and confidential way.
The firm is intentionally preparation-first, confidentiality-conscious, and selective about process discipline rather than broad market exposure alone.
